Ryan A. Hilliard is a common sense conservative.  His mission is to help North Carolina return to limited government, low taxes, and accountability to the citizens of North Carolina.  "A wise and frugal government is the sum of good government", as Thomas Jefferson once said.

People that know Ryan describe him as generous, principled, intelligent, honest, and above all forthright.  He has a passion for politics, and a deep appreciation for our Founding Fathers and their original vision for our great nation, namely freedom and liberty.

Ryan was born in Winston-Salem NC and raised in Thomasville NC.  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, earning a degree in political science in 1999.  He has maintained a passion for politics since his teenage years and strongly believes in the founding ideals that made America the greatest nation in the world.  As U.S. politicians veered us further and further towards a misguided progressive agenda, Ryan became more interested in actively helping combat this disturbing political direction.

For over ten years Ryan has worked as a furniture manufacturer's representative, where he has seen first-hand the challenges business and individuals face.

With your help Ryan can continue to fight for the freedoms and rights our Founding Fathers established for us in the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution, and against wasteful spending, over-taxation, and over-regulation in state government.  He welcomes your comments, questions, and support.
